Shows & episodes
Shows are programmes on metal.club — reviews, interviews, deep dives, and news. Their value here is the connection: an episode that talks about a record links straight to that record on the platform, so listening turns into owning without a detour.
What shows are
Browse shows from the Shows tab, filtered by format — reviews, interviews, deep dives, or news. Each show has a page with its host, a tagline, and its episodes. Follow a show to keep up with it. Episodes carry a number, notes, and links to listen.
Records discussed
The point of difference is the “Records discussed in this episode” section. When an episode talks about a record that’s on metal.club, it’s listed with a “View release” link straight to its page — so the moment something catches your ear, you can go own it. If a record isn’t on the platform yet, the episode says so plainly rather than pretending.
Running a show
Shows run on their own account type, with a dashboard for the show profile and its episodes. When you publish an episode, you tag the records it covers — and those become the “View release” links that turn your coverage into discovery for the bands you’re championing.
